What you can do

The plight of many children across this country may feel overwhelming.

If you are in contact with grieving children through your work or your social involvement please consider running a grief group. They are 6 to 10 weeks long and can really help children live better with their pain and become healthy, loving adults.

Or maybe you are a foster parent that feels a little overpowered by the complexity of things that you are facing. Maybe you are a little scared to discipline the children in your care or you yourself find it hard to talk about death with them.

Please sign up for one of our courses to help you.

Maybe you don't want to run a grief group but can help in some other way. We are open to your ideas and contributions.

And of course: We need your money. While we do charge for courses we also want to provide them free of charge for people who cannot afford to pay for them.

Margriet's Story

Margriet was 63 when she heard about Khululeka.
She had always liked working with people
and had been a development worker
in the Karoo for many years.

She knew she wanted to help,
but she didn't have a lot of money.

So she got in touch with Khululeka and helped
them with a lot of practical things like how to run a meeting and make sure everything gets done on time.

Today Margriet is the chairperson of the board and her work is very important to the Organisation.
