Information on Grief for Undertakers

If you are an undertaker you have a lot to do with families who have lost someone. You may be surprised by how much difference you can make to a child's life by keeping them in mind.

Always encourage parents and other to involve the children and explain to them what is happening.

It is best if the child can chose whether they want to come to the funeral or not.

An undertaker's Story

Alex really liked being a undertaker. He loved providing a good service when people most needed it.

When he learnt that he could make a  difference to children's life by including them he started asking parents to make sure that the children were involved in the ceremonies and to always remind them to ask the children if they want to see the body.

When the family comes to see the body he always makes sure he greets the children personally,
he even has some sweets at his office
to give to the children when they come.
